After holding the reigning French champions to a 1-1 draw on Sunday, Monaco return to Stade Louis II in search of their first home victory of the new Ligue 1 campaign when they welcome Troyes to the Principality on Wednesday.
Less than two weeks ago, les Monegasques lost for the second time in their last 18 domestic home fixtures, dropping a 4-1 decision to Lens, while ESTAC captured their first match of the new season, defeating Angers 3-1 last weekend.
We say: Monaco 3-1 Troyes
Even with five at the back, Troyes have rarely looked comfortable defending this season, and we expect them to have a hard time containing a dynamic Monegasque attack who have plenty of offensive punch.
Monaco have won the last five contests against ESTAC and have never lost to them at Louis II, scoring eight goals in their previous three home outings versus Troyes.

Angers vs. Reims (Wednesday, 6.00pm)
© Reuters
Two teams currently in the Ligue 1 relegation zone will meet on Wednesday as Angers welcome Reims to Stade Jean-Bouin for their latest encounter.
Neither of them have managed to win a game so far this season, with the upcoming encounter providing them the perfect opportunity to change that.
We say: Angers 2-2 Reims
Neither team have managed to get the start to the season that they were hoping for, which makes this a particularly important fixture for both of them.
With each squad looking to push for three points there could be a level of cautiousness about this one that could lead to a draw.

Montpellier vs. Ajaccio (Wednesday, 6.00pm)
© Reuters
After thrashing Brest 7-0 at the weekend, Montpellier HSC will look to clinch back-to-back victories when they play host to Ajaccio.
The newly-promoted side, meanwhile, are still searching for their first win of the season after taking only one point from their opening four matches.
We say: Montpellier HSC 3-1 Ajaccio
Montpellier will be in supremely confident mood after beating Brest 7-0 in the weekend, and we think that they will cruise past an Ajaccio side, who are winless in their opening four matches.

Lyon vs. Auxerre (Wednesday, 6.00pm)
© Reuters
After suffering their first setback of the season on Sunday, Lyon can stretch their winning run at home to seven straight domestic games when they welcome newly-promoted Auxerre to Groupama Stadium on Wednesday.
Olympique Lyonnais scored four minutes before the 90, drawing Reims 1-1, while AJA have won back-to-back Ligue 1 fixtures, edging Strasbourg 1-0.
We say: Lyon 2-1 Auxerre
Look for Lyon to be in a foul mood following a sub-par performance over the weekend, as we anticipate their overall quality will step up on Wednesday against one of the early surprises of the top-flight campaign.
Auxerre have come a long way since losing their opening fixture, but they defend deep and rarely take chances going forward with fewer than 40% possession in three matches this season, and we do not believe they will be able to contain a Lyon side with so many attacking weapons over 90 minutes.

Strasbourg vs. Nantes (Wednesday, 6.00pm)
© Reuters
Fresh off their first victory of the season, Nantes will make the trip to face Strasbourg in their latest Ligue 1 fixture.
The hosts have not won a single game so far this season, sitting just above the relegation zone, and a loss on Wednesday night could see them sink into that.
We say: Strasbourg 1-3 Nantes
Nantes have been impressive in the early moments of this season, and their attacking qualities so far is something that should lead to them being the favourites in this game.
Strasbourg have had the opposite start to their campaign, and the issues that they have displayed particularly in scoring goals is likely going to be decisive in this match.

Lille vs. Nice (Wednesday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
Nice will travel to Stade Pierre-Mauroy in search of their first victory of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 campaign when they battle Lille on Wednesday.
Last Friday, les Dogues bounced back from a lopsided 7-1 defeat to PSG by beating Ajaccio 3-1, while les Aiglons were shut out for a second successive domestic fixture, losing 3-0 at home against Marseille.
We say: Lille 2-0 Nice
Nice seem to have too many distractions in the early going of the new campaign, which has affected their play as they look disorganised while also lacking chemistry.
Lille may look a little suspect at the back, but they are in fine form in the attacking third, and we expect their individual quality will carry them through on Wednesday.

Marseille vs. Clermont (Wednesday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
Marseille will try to maintain their unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season when they play host to Clermont on Wednesday.
The visitors, who have six points to their name, will be looking for a response after losing 2-1 to Lorient at the weekend.
We say: Marseille 3-1 Clermont
Although Clermont won the most recent meeting between the two clubs, we think an in-form Marseille side will claim a comfortable victory to keep pace with defending champions PSG.

Lens vs. Lorient (Wednesday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
Two unbeaten teams in Ligue 1 will face off on Wednesday when Lens welcome Lorient to Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
The hosts have collected 10 points from their four matches, while Lorient have seven points to their name, having played one game less.
We say: Lens 2-1 Lorient
Although both sides are unbeaten this term, we think a Lens side that have won both of their home games this season will edge out the visitors on Wednesday.

Rennes vs. Brest (Wednesday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
Rennes will host Brest on Wednesday in their latest Ligue 1 fixture with both teams level on points so far, with only goal difference separating them in the table.
The visitors are heading into this one on the back of a heavy defeat at the weekend, which is going to be something that they want to respond to immediately.
We say: Rennes 2-0 Brest
After suffering a heavy 7-0 defeat at the weekend, Brest will be pushing to do everything possible to return to winning ways, but this could be a difficult task.
Rennes are a strong side and that is something that could lead to the picking up all three points in midweek.

Toulouse vs. PSG (Wednesday, 8.00pm)
© Reuters
In their first visit to Stadium TFC since the 2018-19 season, Paris Saint-Germain will take on the reigning Ligue 2 champions Toulouse on Wednesday.
On Sunday, the defending top-flight French champions suffered their first setback of the new Ligue 1 campaign, drawing Monaco 1-1, while les Violets lost for the first time this season, 3-1 at Nantes.
We say: Toulouse 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain
We are only four matches into the new campaign, and already it looks as though les Parisiens will run away with the Ligue 1 title, so we do not expect the newly promoted Toulouse to give them any difficulties on Wednesday.
Les Pitchouns have lost five straight top-flight fixtures versus PSG, scoring only once in their last six games against them, while they have conceded four goals or more in two of the previous five encounters versus les Rouge et Bleu.
