Team News: Scott Dann out for Crystal Palace

Alan Pardew makes two changes for Crystal Palace's clash against Sunderland this afternoon.

Alan Pardew has made two changes for Crystal Palace's clash against Sunderland this afternoon.

An injury picked up in midweek's EFL Cup loss to Southampton has forced captain and top scorer Scott Dann to miss out, with James Tomkins taking his place.

Yohan Cabaye comes in for Wilfried Zaha, sidelined with a hamstring injury, in the other change.

For Sunderland, Adnan Januzaj returns to the squad having missed out this week's cup clash against Queens Park Rangers through suspension, while Jermain Defoe is also available once more having recovered from a calf strain.

Left-back Patrick van Aanholt is back in the starting lineup having been ruled out of the last league outing.

Sunderland: Pickford; Manquillo, van Aanholt, Kone, Djilobodji; Kirchhoff, Cattermole, Ndong; Januzaj, Pienaar, Defoe
Subs: Mika, O'Shea, Denayer, McNair, Khazri, Anichebe, Watmore

Crystal Palace: Mandanda; Ward, Delaney, Tomkins, Kelly; Ledley, McArthur; Puncheon, Cabaye, Townsend; Benteke
Subs: Hennessey, Fryers, Wynter, Mutch, Lee, Sako, Wickham
