Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup says that his team's performance during their 3-0 defeat to Everton this afternoon was their worst during his time at the club.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has said that his team's performance during their 3-0 defeat to Everton this afternoon was their worst so far this season.

The Swans, who had substitute Nathan Dyer sent off in the second half, were emphatically beaten by the high-flying Toffees courtesy of goals from Victor Anichebe, Kevin Mirallas and Marouane Fellaini.

"Everton deserved the win," said Laudrup. "They were better than us and we were very disappointing in the first 30 minutes where we gave away a lot of fouls.

"We started too slowly and that was the grounds for defeat and even though we tried to come back into the game, overall they deserved it.

"I have to find something positive and perhaps it is that their man of the match was their goalkeeper - we created chances and could have scored two or three, but they could have scored five. It was the worst we have seen this season."

Next up for Swansea is a trip to Crawley Town in the League Cup on Tuesday night.
