Swansea City's Ashley Williams: 'We are realistic, we still have work to do'

Swansea City captain Ashley Williams says that the team still have a "lot of work to do" following their 1-0 win over Watford.

Swansea City captain Ashley Williams has claimed that he and his teammates must not get carried away following their victory over Watford on Monday night.

The Welsh outfit, who appointed Francesco Guidolin as head coach on Monday, won their first Premier League game in four matches last night.

Williams scored the only goal - his first since March 2014 - in Swansea's 1-0 triumph at the Liberty Stadium.

Despite the victory, the club remain in danger as they are just one point above the relegation zone.

"It was a massive win for us but we still have to be realistic - we still have a lot of work to do," Williams told the club's official website. "We are in a position we do not want to be in and we need to earn points as quick as possible.

"The quality we have in the squad alongside the way we have battled shows we can win in this league. The real challenge is now backing up this performance and win, in order to do that we must focus on that Everton game and try and get another three points."

Swansea's next game is against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
