Team News: Wilfried Bony still out for Swansea City

Wilfried Bony is still absent for Swansea City as they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion.

Wilfried Bony is still absent for Swansea City as they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Liberty this afternoon.

The striker, who rejoined the Welsh side over the summer, has been on the sidelines since late September with a hamstring injury and is once again absent from the matchday squad today.

Paul Clement makes one change to his starting XI following the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal last Saturday as he looks to build on a woeful home run that has seen the Swans collect just three points from five games this season.

Mike van der Hoorn is the man to make way as Nathan Dyer comes into the fold in what is expected to be a 3-5-2 formation.

Jordan Ayew and Tammy Abraham continue their partnership up front, while Dyer is expected to play down the left wing and Sam Clucas down the right.

Ki Sung-yeung, Leroy Fer and Nathan Dyer marshal the midfield, with Kyle Naughton playing on the right of a back three alongside Federico Fernandez and Alfie Mawson. Lukasz Fabianski stays put in goal.

As for the Seagulls, Chris Hughton names an identical side to the XI that started the draw at Southampton on Sunday, with Pascal Gross and Glenn Murray spearheading the attack.

Anthony Knockaert, Dale Stephens, Davy Propper and Jose Izquierdo make up the midfield, while Bruno, Shane Duffy, Lewis Dunk and Gaetan Bong are in the back four and Mathew Ryan is between the posts.

Swansea City: Fabianksi; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson; Clucas, Ki, Fer, Carroll, Dyer; Ayew, Abraham

Brighton & Hove Albion: Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Knockaert, Stephens, Propper, Izquierdo; Gross, Murray
