Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has insisted that in-form forward Michu will not be sold this month.
Michu, who arrived at the Liberty Stadium from Rayo Vallecano in July for a transfer fee of £2m, has scored 14 goals in 22 appearances this season.
His performances have reportedly attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, Zenit St Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkhala, but Laudrup is adamant that the 26-year-old is staying put.
"There is no way he will leave," said the Dane. "It is absolutely out of the question.
"One reason is because it is so difficult to get someone in right now, and the second is that he is happy here and doesn't want to leave.
"Newcastle have just lost their top scorer mid-season and that is obviously very bad, especially because it is not easy to find a guy who scores goals like him."
Michu is under contract at Swansea until June 2015.
