Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has praised the women's Team GB.
Speaking in his column in the Sunday Mirror, Holloway spoke of the current level of quality the women's game provides and praised Team GB Coach Hope Powell for her efforts.
"Watching the women's team has been a breath of fresh air," said Holloway.
"I would like to think that Hope Powell and the girls have blown away any doubts that they can play the game to an incredibly high standard."
Team GB were beaten at the quarter-final stage 2-0 by Canada.
