Nancy 0-3 Toulouse

Toulouse secure an easy 3-0 victory over Ligue 1 strugglers Nancy.

Toulouse have catapulted themselves into fourth place in Ligue 1 with a comfortable 3-0 victory at struggling Nancy.

Early first-half goals from Pantxi Sirieix and Adrien Regattin set the visitors on their way, before a 72nd-minute strike from Emmanuel Riviere secured the win.

Victory means Alain Casanova's charges leapfrog Marseille, Rennes and Lyon and put themselves firmly in the running for the final Champions League spot.

However, Marseille could retake fourth place with victory over Valenciennes in the day's late kick-off.

Toulouse's next match sees them play host to bottom side Sochaux next Sunday, while Nancy travel to Evian on Saturday.
