Toulouse and Caen draw 3-3 after crazy five minutes

Toulouse and Caen share the points in Ligue 1 after three goals in the space of five second-half minutes contribute to a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Three last-gasp goals were scored in five minutes as Toulouse and Caen shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw at the Stadium Municipal in Ligue 1 this evening.

Wissam Ben Yedder was wasteful for Toulouse in the opening minutes as he flashed his effort wide from the left side of the box, following a good headed pass from strike partner Aleksandar Pesic.

The visitors made them pay for the miss in the seventh minute when Florian Raspentino was found by Jordan Adeoti, leaving the striker to convert into the bottom corner past Zacharie Boucher.

However, it did not take too long for Toulouse to find a response, as Tongo Doumbia drew a foul from Remy Vercoutre inside the box, leaving Ben Yedder to step up and score from the spot.

Travelling Caen restored their lead in the second half when Lenny Nangis converted into the top corner, before Adrien Regattin equalised for the hosts from the penalty spot.

In what turned out to be a crazy five minutes, Caen went back in front through Jean Calve, who sent home an unstoppable free kick, but their lead was to be surrendered soon after as Pavle Ninkov drew Toulouse level just a minute later to earn his side a point.
