Former Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin is reportedly close to agreeing a short-term deal with Kazakhstan outfit FC Kairat.
The Russian represented Arsenal between 2009 and 2013 and has also had two separate spells with Zenit St Petersburg.
The 34-year-old's career has stalled in recent years, however, and he is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Kuban Krasnodar earlier this month.
According to The Sun, Arshavin has already had two training sessions with Kairat and negotiations are underway over a short-term deal.
The left-sided attacker also made 75 appearances for his country between 2002 and 2012, scoring 17 times in the process.
