Report: Tottenham Hotspur want Lorenzo Insigne this summer

A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Napoli's Italian forward Lorenzo Insigne at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly press ahead with an £18m move for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne at the end of the season.

Spurs booked their spot in the last-16 stage of the Europa League with an impressive 3-0 victory over Fiorentina on Thursday and the capital side also currently sit second in the Premier League table.

According to The Mirror, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino sees Insigne as the perfect player to boost his forward line for the 2016-17 campaign.

The 24-year-old has spent the entirety of his professional career at Napoli, although he has had two loan spells at Foggia and Pescara.

The attacking midfielder, who has scored 11 times this season, is also an Italian international of six caps.
