Tim Cahill in talks to join Al Wahda?

Tim Cahill is reportedly close to agreeing a switch to United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda.

Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has reportedly held discussions with United Arab Emirates-based outfit Al Wahda.

It has been suggested that the talks have been taking place during the ongoing Asian Cup.

Following the conclusion of the tournament, the deal, thought to last for 12 months, will be finalised, according to The National.

Midfielder Cahill, 35, has spent the last three years playing in the MLS with the New York Red Bulls.
