Valencia have completed the signing of Shkodran Mustafi from Sampdoria.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract, although no details have been given concerning the transfer fee.
Mustafi was part of the Germany team that won the World Cup this summer and made three appearances during the tournament.
He was not initially included in Joachim Low's squad, but was called up for the injured Marco Reus.
Mustafi, who previously had a spell at Everton, played 33 times for Sampdoria last season, helping the club to finish 12th in the league.
