Team News: Mario Balotelli, Andrea Poli start for AC Milan against Hellas Verona

Andrea Poli makes his Serie A debut for AC Milan against Hellas Verona.

AC Milan have included summer signing Andrea Poli in their starting XI for today's Serie A opener against Hellas Verona.

Poli replaces Nigel de Jong in midfield from the team that drew with PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League playoff, while Robinho is on the bench.

That means Mario Balotelli again starts in attack, supported by M'baye Niang and Stephan El Shaarawy.

Hellas Verona start with veteran Luca Toni up front and former AC Milan midfielder Massimo Donati in midfield.

Hellas Verona: Rafael; Maietta, Moras, Albertazzi, Cacciatore; Donati, Frello, Romulo; Toni, Jankovic, Martinho

AC Milan: Abbiati; Mexes, Zapata, Constant, Abate; Montolivo, Nocerino, Poli; Balotelli, El Shaarawy, Niang
