Video: Chinese goalkeeper sips water as goal is scored against him

A Chinese goalkeeper is fined by his club after conceding a goal while taking a sip from his water bottle.

A Chinese goalkeeper was left red faced on Sunday after a goal was scored against him while he was sipping from a water bottle.

Chongqing Lifan shot-stopper Sui Weijie appeared completely oblivious when Lianoning Whowin midfielder Ding Haifeng scored from a quickly-taken free kick during a Super League game.

Sui's team, who are lingering just above the relegation zone, were leading before the bizarre equaliser was scored.

As a result of his drinks break, the goalkeeper has been fined 50,000 yuan (£5,240).
