Moi Gomez hoping to improve goal output

Villarreal attacker Moi Gomez believes that he should be finding the back of the net on a more regular basis.

Villarreal attacker Moi Gomez has said that he wants to start adding more goals to his game.

The Spaniard netted twice in Sunday's 3-1 win over Celta Vigo, but has conceded that he needs to start finding the back of the net on a more regular basis.

"In my life I've not scored twice in such a short time. It's very hard to do. They are my first goals in the Primera and I want more," he told AS.

"I've received calls of congratulations from many people. I want to thank the coach for having confidence in me. He's given me a lot of confidence and help and I'm glad I could pay that back on the pitch."

Gomez, 20, is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in Spain.
