Wales announce friendly against France

Wales announce details of a friendly against France, to be held in Paris next month.

The Welsh FA has confirmed that Wales will play France in a friendly next month.

The game will be staged at the Stade de France in Paris on Friday, November 10, with a 9pm kickoff local time.

The friendly will be the first game for Chris Coleman's men following their failure to qualify for the World Cup in a make-or-break game against the Republic of Ireland last week.

France and Wales have only met once before, with Ian Rush scoring the only goal of the game to hand the Dragons a friendly win in Toulouse 35 years ago.

Wales are expected to confirm one more friendly fixture for the last international break of the year in due course.
