Watford make three changes for this afternoon's visit of Newcastle United.

Watford have made three changes for this afternoon's visit of Newcastle United.

Richarlison, Kiko Femenia and Adrian Mariappa miss out from the XI that fell to defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, while Daryl Janmaat, Roberto Pereyra and Troy Deeney - returning from an ankle problem - come in.

For the visitors, Rafael Benitez makes two changes for what is his 300th Premier League match in the dugout.

Javier Manquillo and Jacob Murphy come in at the expense of DeAndre Yedlin and Matt Ritchie.

Islam Slimani is out of contention due to his dismissal from the 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, while Ciaran Clark and Christian Atsu are both unavailable due to knee injuries.

Mikel Merino, meanwhile, takes a place on the bench having recovered from a back injury.

Watford: Karnezis; Janmaat, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas; Hughes, Doucoure, Capoue, Pereyra; Deeney, Gray
Subs: Gomes, Britos, Mariappa, Femenía, Deulofeu, Richarlison, Sinclair

Newcastle United: Dubravka; Manquillo, Lascelles, Lejeune, Dummett; Diame, Shelvey, Murphy, Kenedy; Perez; Gayle
Subs: Darlow, Ritchie, Hayden, Joselu, Yedlin, Merino, Haidara
