Amid Euro 2024, the Copa America and Premier League clubs attempting to meet financial regulations, Sports Mole takes a look at five Championship transfers you may have missed in recent days.

Despite the distractions of Euro 2024 and the Copa America, the summer transfer window is in full flow, with the most notable action involving Premier League clubs.

Some top-flight teams in England have been scrambling to meet the division's Profit and Sustainability Rules in order to avoid potential points deductions.

As a result, most attention has been placed on those deals, but there has been plenty of action in the Championship as clubs attempt to put together squads capable of launching bids for promotion.

Here, Sports Mole brings you up-to-date on five deals you may have missed in recent days.

Ismael Kone leaves Watford for Marseille

Having spent a substantial fee to sign Ismael Kone from CF Montreal in December 2022, Watford always had hope they would eventually make a profit on the Canada international.

Four goals and four assists spread across 63 appearances has hardly been the best return, particularly in a side that has struggled to live up to expectations.

Nevertheless, Marseille have opted to pay in the region of €12m (£10.2m) to sign the 22-year-old on a five-year contract, handing the Hornets a huge boost when it comes to what they can spend up until the end of August.

Plymouth loan Slavia Prague forward

Wayne Rooney is attempting to make his mark in charge of Plymouth Argyle and he may have done just that with the addition of Slavia Prague forward Muhamed Tijani.

The 23-year-old arrives at Home Park with decent pedigree, with a total of 11 goals and four assists having come from 64 outings in the Czech top flight.

Tijani, a former Nigeria Under-20 international who has signed on an initial loan, netted in the Europa League as recently as November, scoring in a 3-2 victory over FC Sheriff.

Swansea forward Yates joins Derby on loan

Jerry Yates has made a name for himself as a solid Championship attacker over the years, scoring 31 goals and providing eight assists from 152 appearances in the division.

As many as 22 goals have been netted for Blackpool and Swansea City during the past two seasons, but the latter of those clubs have allowed him to make the loan switch to newly-promoted Derby County.

That addition is the fourth shrewd signing made by the Rams, following deals for Ben Osborn, Corey Blackett-Taylor and Kayden Jackson.

Bristol City spend big on Rapid Vienna forward

Bristol City are not necessarily known for spending big money, yet the Robins have opted to pay over £3m to sign Rapid Vienna forward Fally Mayulu.

The 21-year-old moves to Ashton Gate having contributed six goals and three assists from 28 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga in 2023-24.

Prior to that, 11 goals and 11 assists had come from 30 outings in the second tier with FC Blau-Weiss Linz, and there is every indication that Mayulu could impress in England.

Sheffield Wednesday pull off Lowe coup

Jamal Lowe's stock has dropped since his 14-goal campaign with Swansea back in 2020-21, but he hit back with nine strikes and three assists with the same club last season.

Although the Jamaica international would still be released by Bournemouth, the 29-year-old has been quickly snapped up by Sheffield Wednesday.

Lowe joins Ben Hamer, Yan Valery, Max Lowe, Svante Ingelsson and Olaf Kobacki in moving to Hillsborough for what Danny Rohl will hope will be a promotion campaign.
