Reading have confirmed the signing of Watford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old was previously said to have rejected a new contract with the Hornets after they signed Giedrius Arlauskis from Steaua Bucharest and Heurelho Gomes and Rene Gilmartin agreed new deals.
The Royals confirmed the transfer on their Twitter page, adding that the England Under-21 man has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at the Madejski Stadium.
Bond, a Watford academy graduate, made a total of 33 appearances for the Hornets, 22 of them in the league.
