Miguel Britos extends stay at Watford

Watford announce that defender Miguel Britos has had his contract at Vicarage Road extended by another 12 months.

Defender Miguel Britos has been given a contract extension at Watford.

In 2015, Watford handed Britos a three-year deal after agreeing a transfer from Napoli, and the Hornets have opted to add another 12 months to the Uruguayan's terms.

The 32-year-old only made 12 appearances in the Premier League this season - partly due to injury - but a total of 68 outings have come during his time at the Hertfordshire-based outfit.

Watford have also announced that four players from their second-string setup will move on at the end of their deals.

Brandon Mason, Charlie Rowan, Yazid Kaikay and Reece Stray will all have to find new clubs ahead of next season.
