West Bromwich Albion's Peter Odemwingie: 'Rival teams are more careful against us'

West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie believes that rival teams are "more careful" against the Baggies due to their impressive form.

West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie believes that rival teams are aware of the Baggies' threat following their strong start to the campaign.

The Premier League outfit sit seventh in the table as the hectic festive schedule approaches but Odemwingie has insisted that teams are more "careful" when they go up against the Baggies.

"They've seen we have quality and pace," Odemwingie told BBC WM. "I've noticed people play more careful against us now. It becomes a bit more difficult but that's when you need to show character and belief that we are growing."

West Brom face Norwich City at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
