Peter Odemwingie is reportedly sent home from training for a few days by West Bromwich Albion following the striker's controversial actions yesterday.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly sent striker Peter Odemwingie home from training following the controversy involving Queens Park Rangers on deadline day.

The Baggies accused the 31-year-old of acting "wholly unprofessionally" when he arrived at Loftus Road last night in the hope of making a transfer, despite not receiving permission from West Brom.

Odemwingie arrived for training with the Baggies this morning but has since been sent home for a few days and asked to return next week, according to Sky Sports News.

The former Lokomotiv Moscow player has insisted that he remains determined to leave West Brom.
