The agent of West Bromwich Albion midfielder Zoltan Gera has confirmed that his client is in contract talks with the Premier League outfit.
The 34-year-old's current deal with the Baggies is due to expire at the end of this month, but Filipovic Vladan has revealed that talks are underway between the two parties.
Vladan told Nemzeti Sport: "Zoltan's contract expires and he is free to sign anywhere, but this doesn't mean that West Brom don't want to keep him.
"We are having talks with the club, the leaders have stressed that they want Zoltan Gera to stay. The negotiations are going well and we hope that a new contract will be signed within one or two weeks.
"Zoltan feels good at the club, his health is getting better, his injury will soon be history so he has no reason to change."
Gera is currently in his second spell with West Brom.
