Sam Allardyce not expecting to lose job as West Ham United manager

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce insists that he is not expecting to get sacked by the club, despite ongoing speculation.

Sam Allardyce has insisted that he has not received any "indication" by the West Ham United board that he could be sacked at the end of the season.

Rumours that the 59-year-old could be replaced have continued to rumble, despite guiding the side to a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Despite the speculation, Allardyce has revealed that he has already been discussing plans for next season with co-owner David Sullivan.

"All I can say is I spoke to David Sullivan yesterday about arranging our usual end-of-season meeting to arrange pre-season and budgets," Allardyce said in Friday's press conference.

"I had no indication that my position was under threat. That's all I can say on it."

The Hammers will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a bid to stop the North-West outfit from clinching the Premier League title.
