West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has criticised his players for their 'unacceptable' display during Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.
Jermain Defoe scored twice at White Hart Lane as Spurs comfortably saw off their London rivals.
"You can accept defeat when you know your players have played their best and we haven't done that today," Allardyce told Sky Sports News. "I don't accept the way my players have played today and I want them to bounce back."
West Ham return to Premier League action on Wednesday when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
