Slaven Bilic: 'West Ham United board will do what they are going to do'

Slaven Bilic claims that the West Ham United board "will do what they are going to do" following the club's 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion.

Slaven Bilic has claimed that the West Ham United board "will do what they are going to do" following the club's 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday.

The Hammers were thrashed on home turf as Glenn Murray's brace, either side of Jose Izquierdo's goal, saw the Seagulls leave the London Stadium with all three points.

Bilic has found himself under pressure to retain his job in recent months, and the Hammers fans at the ground were loud in showing their discontent with the team's performance.

"It's very hard for me to say anything clever now. I take full responsibility for it. I don't want to hide," the 49-year-old told Sky Sports News.

"It is not a good situation and the board will do what they are going to do. It's their decision."

The result sees West Ham slip to 17th in the Premier League table, two points clear of the relegation zone.
