West Ham United defender James Collins says that the team are "full of confidence" heading into this weekend's game against Newcastle United.

West Ham United defender James Collins has claimed that there is a renewed sense of confidence within the camp following a positive run of results.

The East London outfit are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games, in which they took points off Chelsea and Arsenal.

David Moyes arrived at the London Stadium as Slaven Bilic's successor last month with failed spells at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland under his belt, but the Scotsman has turned the club's fortunes around.

Ahead of Saturday's match against Newcastle United on home soil, Collins told the club's official website: "We're full of confidence, as you might expect.

"A few weeks back, the confidence was low and people were probably fearing the worst with the games that we had, but it shows the character of the lads to come through and get seven points from the last three games.

"We've got a big game against Newcastle now, but our confidence is high and I'm sure we can get another three points on Saturday."

The Hammers sit 15th in the table, two points above the relegation zone.
