Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland has emerged as a reported transfer target for Premier League side West Ham United.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce added veteran goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen to his squad during the summer on a free transfer from Bolton Wanderers.
However, it has been said that Allardyce has been far from impressed by some of the 37-year-old's performances over recent weeks.
That has resulted in him seeking alternative keepers, with youngster Butland having caught the eye of his scouting team, according to Goal.com.
The Hammers are believed to face competition for the England youngster though because both Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring his situation closely.
The report has also claimed that Allardyce is willing to offer around £5m to take the 19-year-old to Upton Park.
