West Ham United 'to pay £20m for Simone Zaza if he plays 10 more games'

West Ham United will reportedly have to hand over £20m to Juventus, on top of the initial £5m loan fee paid in August, if Simone Zaza makes 10 more league appearances.

West Ham United will reportedly be made to fork out £20m to sign Simone Zaza on a permanent deal from Juventus if he plays another 10 games for the club.

The 25-year-old has failed to get going at the London Stadium since making an initial loan move from the Italian giants, having yet to register a goal after five appearances.

Zaza's agent previously claimed that a clause in the Italian's contract meant he would be signed after 10 matches, but The Sun reports that the actual figure is 14 games.

It is also suggested that only Premier League fixtures and appearances in the latter stages of cup competitions count, so Zaza will need to feature a further 10 times before hitting the milestone which triggers his sale.

Zaza's loan move is said to have cost West Ham £5m to push through, a season on from scoring five goals in 19 outings for Juventus.
