West Ham United 'want to terminate Ravel Morrison contract'

West Ham United reportedly want to terminate Ravel Morrison's contract as soon as possible.

Premier League club West Ham United have given up on Ravel Morrison and want to terminate his contract as soon as possible, a report has claimed.

The 21-year-old, who has just returned to West Ham early from his loan at Cardiff City, is only under contract at Upton Park until next summer.

However, the East London side want him out as soon as possible, according to The Telegraph.

He has reportedly been training with the Hammers' Under-21 outfit as the club do not want him to disturb the first team, which is flying high in fourth place.

He was last month cleared of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, but will stand trial in January for three remaining charges of assault.

He joined the Hammers from Manchester United in 2012.
