Uwe Rosler 'won't speculate on Watson injury'

Uwe Rosler says that he is not willing to speculate over the injury picked up by Ben Watson tonight.

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has said that he is not willing to speculate on the seriousness of Ben Watson's injury.

The midfielder was stretchered off the field after 20 minutes against Barnsley tonight with a suspected broken leg, and Rosler insists that he now has his fingers crossed.

"We don't want to speculate on the situation," the former Brentford manager told reporters following the game. "We have our fingers crossed and we're waiting on news."

The Latics went on to win the Championship clash 2-0, courtesy of first-half goals from Nicky Maynard and Martyn Waghorn.
