Wigan Athletic midfielder Shaun Maloney refuses to reveal whether he will remain at the club next season.

Wigan Athletic midfielder Shaun Maloney has admitted that he is unsure whether he will leave the club this summer.

The Scotland international was one of the club's most consistent players last season, but was unable to help the Latics remain in the Premier League.

Maloney told the Daily Mail: "I've not really thought about it. Things are pretty up in the air, like us not having a manager.

"Our chairman spoke about players leaving and staying, and us trying to bounce right back up.

"So there's a bit of uncertainty surrounding the club but when we come back for pre-season, and get a new manager named, things will be a lot clearer."

A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with his services.
