Josh Murphy leaves Norwich City on loan for Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic sign their second player of the day with the month-long loan addition of Josh Murphy from Norwich City.

Wigan Athletic have completed the month-long loan signing of Josh Murphy from fellow Championship side Norwich City.

The 20-year-old has made 16 appearances for Norwich this season, but hasn't featured since coming on as a substitute against Birmingham City at the end of January.

"Josh will be another great addition to what is still a small squad here," Latics boss Malky Mackay told the club website.

"He is a great young talent and we thank Norwich for allowing this to happen. Hopefully Josh can make a successful contribution during his time with us and we're delighted to have him on board."

Murphy's arrival is the second at the DW Stadium today following the loan capture of Liverpool's teenage striker Jerome Sinclair.
