Preview: Norwich City vs. Rotherham United

Sports Mole previews the Championship match between league leaders Norwich City and Rotherham United at Carrow Road.

League leaders Norwich City will be looking to maintain their place at the top of the table when they host Rotherham United in the Championship this weekend.

The Canaries suffered a surprise defeat, just their second of the season, when they hosted Charlton Athletic during the week, losing 1-0 at Carrow Road.

Neil Adams has no fresh injury concerns following the team's midweek outing, but may look to make changes following the defeat to Charlton.

Josh Murphy and Jonny Howson both came off the bench late on last time out, so would be fresh for the weekend if called upon by the manager.

Meanwhile, Rotherham will head into the side full of confidence after ending a run of five matches without a win in their last outing.

Steve Evans's side picked up a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers earlier this week to move them up to 17th in the table.

Kirk Broadfoot will miss the trip as he lasted just 10 minutes on Tuesday after picking up an ankle injury, while on-loan striker Luciano Becchio will sit out the match, as he is ineligible to play against his parent club.

However, Richie Smallwood could be ready to make his return after missing the last two matches with a knock.

This will be the first time that these two sides have met since Norwich beat Rotherham in a cup match in September 2006.
