How Wolverhampton Wanderers could line up against Slovan Bratislava

Ahead of Thursday's Europa League game between Wolves and Slovan Bratislava, Sports Mole looks at how Nuno Espirito Santo's side could line up at Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers play host to Slovan Bratislava in the Europa League on Thursday evening having won their last two matches in the competition.

After a last-gasp success against Besiktas in Turkey, Wolves came from behind to register a 2-1 victory over Bratislava two weeks ago, a result which moved the club into second position in Group K.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo has a number of selection dilemmas ahead of the reverse fixture with the Slovakian outfit at Molineux.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how Nuno's side could line up for the showdown in the West Midlands.

WOLXI VS. SLB

Out: Willy Boly (ankle), Diogo Jota (suspended)
Doubtful: Matt Doherty (knock), Morgan Gibbs-White (back), Ryan Bennett (groin)

As a result of Diogo Jota serving a one-match ban for his sending-off last month, Patrick Cutrone is expected to come into the team as the Portuguese's replacement.

Matt Doherty picked up a knock against Arsenal at the weekend, which could lead to either Jonny or Adama Traore deputising for the Irishman at right wing-back.

Ruben Vinagre should be included on the opposite flank, while there may be changes in defence with Ryan Bennett closing in on a return from a groin injury.

Providing that Bennett features in the back three, Leander Dendoncker could move back into midfield, where he would likely partner Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.

If Bennett is only named among the replacements or misses out completely, Romain Saiss may potentially move to the right-hand side of the defence, with Max Kilman earning a recall to the other side of Conor Coady.
