Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Roger Johnson is reportedly facing a fine for turning up to training worse for wear.

Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Roger Johnson is reportedly facing a £50,000 club fine for turning up to training worse for wear.

The defender was sent to train with the youth development squad after he arrived at training "bleary-eyed", according to the Daily Mail.

The 28-year-old has been left out of the squad for the two matches that interim manager Terry Connor has taken charge of.

Johnson joined Wolves from local rivals Birmingham City over the summer for around £7m.
