Karl Henry calls for focus

Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Karl Henry wants his teammates to forget about speculation and focus on matters on the pitch.

Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Karl Henry has called upon his teammates to remain focused.

Following the club's relegation to the Championship in April, speculation surrounding the futures of key players - such as Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis - has been rife.

Henry, who committed his long-term future to Wolves by signing a new four-year contract last week, is keen to make sure that off-field gossip does not affect the team's on-field form.

He said: "It's not nice to be thinking about losing your best players because we want to keep them.

"But we've had that uncertainty for a few months now and the season has started and we just need to be focused."

Wolves host Burnley at Molineux later today.
