Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Stale Solbakken reveals his plans for the returning Jamie O'Hara.

Stale Solbakken has confessed that his Wolverhampton Wanderers side have missed the impact of Jamie O'Hara in recent months.

The former England youth international stepped up his comeback from a lengthy injury by scoring during the development squad's 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic yesterday afternoon.

With the 26-year-old moving closer to a return, Solbakken has admitted that he possesses the ability that his team has been lacking.

"He can certainly play different roles. I've seen him play as an orthodox central midfielder and I've seen him play coming in off the left and coming in off the right with his left foot when he played for Portsmouth," Solbakken told the Express & Star.

"Jamie's a type of player who has a left foot which can do a bit extra. He can also play between the lines a bit more. He's the type of midfielder we sometimes lack. But first, we need him fit."

O'Hara joined Wolves on a permanent basis in the summer of 2011.
