Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken tells any admirers to forget about signing Bakary Sako in January.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has once again reiterated his intention to keep Bakary Sako at the club beyond the upcoming January transfer window.

The 24-year-old winger is thought to have been watched by a number of scouts since he joined Wolves in the summer from St Etienne for a fee in the region of £3m.

However, despite accepting that there is bound to be interest in his player, Solbakken is adamant that he will not be allowed to leave Molineux next month.

"He signed a long-term contract and he's been here for four months. He can only add to his game by staying," Solbakken told the Express & Star.

"[Speculation and scouts looking] is something we have to live with. As long as we have television sets, people will look at him."

Sako has found the net on six occasions this season.
