Wolverhampton Wanderers appoint new youth coaches

Wolves name Scott Sellars and Rob Edwards as the club's new Under-21 and Under-18 coaches respectively.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have appointed Scott Sellars and Rob Edwards as the club's new Under-21 and Under-18 coaches respectively.

Former Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United midfielder Sellars arrives at Molineux following a spell with Manchester City's youth setup.

Meanwhile, ex-Wolves defender Edwards has been given a permanent role with the club after working as a coach on a temporary basis.

"Following a restructure of the Academy, we are now delighted to have appointed Scott and Rob to the respective coaching positions," read a statement on the club's official website.

Wolves start their Championship campaign at home to Norwich City on August 10.
