Wolverhampton Wanderers to replace Stale Solbakken with Sean O'Driscoll?

Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly consider approaching Sean O'Driscoll if the club's hierarchy lose patience with current manager Stale Solbakken.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly targeted a move for recently-sacked Sean O'Driscoll should Stale Solbakken's tenure come to an end.

Wolves have experienced a torrid period in their first campaign in the Championship since getting relegated from the top flight last season and current boss Solbakken has been open about his side's dismal results, which have placed the club 18th in the league table.

It is understood that O'Driscoll, who was sacked by Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, is being lined up as a potential replacement to Solbakken, according to the Daily Mail.

Solbakken was appointed at Molineux last May following the departure of Terry Connor, who took charge of the team after Mick McCarthy was dismissed.
