Meanwhile, Roberto Mancini is expected to award Carlos Tevez with another starting spot following the Argentina international's hat-trick in City's 6-1 win over Norwich City last Saturday.

Nigel de Jong could make way for Yaya Toure in midfield, with Samir Nasri and David Silva called in to provide service to Tevez and Sergio Aguero.
