Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly decide against making a permanent move for on-loan striker Leo Bonatini.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly decided against offering a permanent deal to striker Leo Bonatini ahead of their return to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old moved to Molineux on a season-long loan deal from Al-Hilal last summer and went on to bag 12 goals and five assists in a campaign that saw Nuno Espirito Santo's side cruise to the Championship title.

Wolves are believed to have taken an option to buy with all of their loan signings, but according to the Express & Star, the club's hierarchy have decided that the Brazilian will not be part of their plans in the top flight.

Towards the end of the season Bonatini admitted that he wanted to remain in the Midlands but said that he had not been informed of the club's intentions.

Meanwhile, Wolves are expected to pick up their options on defender Willy Boly and striker Diogo Jota, while they are still mulling over the fates of Benik Afobe, Alfred N'Diaye and youngster Ruben Vinagre.
