Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson has admitted that he is "gutted" after his side threw away a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 away to Carlisle United on Saturday afternoon.
The victory would have moved Yeovil up to fifth in League One and Johnson was in no doubt that it was two points dropped.
"I'm gutted," Johnson told PA Sport. "It was a dagger to the heart. We are still there or thereabouts and I've got to keep shoving and probing to get them to believe they can get there.
"It hurts a lot. All of a sudden players start hitting the wrong ball at the wrong time and jumping out of tackles and not winning things.
"I've got a massive job to keep them competitive. Some players have it and some aren't competitive enough. If you are mid-table, then 3-3 at Carlisle sounds not bad, but I make it a very poor result."
Yeovil are in the League One playoff spots by one point over Tranmere Rovers.
