English teenage golfer Matthew Fitzpatrick has confirmed that he will turn professional after this year's US Open at Pinehurst.
The 19-year-old from Sheffield, who won last year's US Amateur at Brookline, recently signed with International Sports Management and hopes they can "mould" him into a Major winner.
"I chose ISM because I was impressed with how much they wanted to manage me," PA quotes him as saying.
"I had options, but eventually it came down to ISM. They have a proven track record of guiding the careers of young golfers and moulding major champions. I am in good hands."
Fitzpatrick played with new world number one Adam Scott in the first two rounds of The Masters in April, missing the cut by one shot at Augusta.
