USPGA champion Keegan Bradley has jumped 79 places in the world golf rankings, from 108th to 29th, overtaking former world number one Tiger Woods.
Woods slid to 33rd following his missed cut in Atlanta, while Steve Stricker edged into the number three spot after his strong PGA showing.
Stricker is now the leading American on the list ahead of Phil Mickelson at number six.
Bradley, 25, picked up his first major victory after a three-hole play-off against Jason Dufner in Atlanta, Georgia.
