England's Luke Donald has retaken second place from Tiger Woods in the world golf rankings thanks to victory at the Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Japan today.
The 34-year-old shot a closing 68 to finish on 16-under-par ahead of the home duo of Hideki Matsuyama and Koumei Oda.
Donald went into the final day four clear of the field and never looked in danger of surrendering his advantage with early birdies and eagles before a string of pars and a birdie on the final hole.
Following the win, Donald tweeted: "Loved my week here in Japan - the Dunlop Phoenix is a great event, on a great course, great food, great beer....it's just great!"
He is still a fair way adrift of the number one Rory McIlroy in the world standings.
