Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has reportedly married his childhood girlfriend Melanie Slade in a ceremony in Italy.

The couple, who first met 10 years ago, are believed to have tied the knot at Castello Di Vincigliata in Florence over the weekend.

Guests were asked to donate to the Willow Foundation, which was set up by former Arsenal player Bob Wilson and Macmillan Cancer Support, instead of buying gifts for the couple, according to the Daily Mail.

Walcott spent his stag-do with friends in Las Vegas last week.
