Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is looking for the squad to be more consistent during next season.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has called on the squad to be more consistent next season.

The Gunners endured a difficult start to the last campaign but rallied late on to secure themselves a fourth-placed finish in the table and Champions League qualification.

"I think the balance between the young and the experienced players is working with the foreign base and you can start to see the British core come through from the youth level upwards so I think we've got it right," Walcott told the club's official website. "The next step now is being more consistent."

Walcott scored 21 goals in all competitions for Arsenal last season.
